Selection Process for Punjab Police Constable Post Bharti 2024
The selection process for these jobs happens in three stages:
Computer Based Test (CBT): There are two tests, Paper-I and Paper-II, where you answer multiple-choice questions. Paper-II is just to pass, not for marks.
Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): You have to pass both of these tests. They check your physical abilities and measure you to make sure you meet the requirements.

Note: All events in PST are qualifying in nature, and candidates must qualify each event for their respective category. Random drug testing may be conducted, refusal to provide samples will lead to disqualification. Transgenders are treated the same as females for PST/PMT. Pregnant female candidates can request postponement of PST & PMT with specific conditions.

Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of equal marks in Paper-I: seniority in age is given preference, followed by higher marks in Paper-I’s sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Mental Ability.

Selected candidates are allocated to cadres based on merit and preferred cadre against category-wise vacancies, if they fulfill eligibility criteria.
