1. Typist/Copyist (Civil Court):
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.
   • English Typing Speed of 40 WPM and Hindi Typing Speed of 30 WPM.
2. Court Reader cum-Deposition Writer:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.
   • English Typing Speed of 40 WPM and Hindi Typing Speed of 30 WPM.
3. Deposition Typist (Civil Court):
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.

4. Stenographer English in Civil Court:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.

Selection Process for JHC Jharkhand High Court Typist & Stenographer Post Bharti 2024

For Typist/Copyist, Court Reader-cum-Deposition Writer & Deposition Typist:

1. English Typing Skill Test: Candidates will undergo a 5-minute typing test at 40 w.p.m. in English.
2. Hindi Typing Skill Test: Candidates will undergo a 10-minute typing test at 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
3. Interview: Candidates will be interviewed based on their performance in the typing tests.
4. Selection: A panel of successful candidates will be prepared based on total marks obtained in the Hindi Typing Skill Test and interview. Candidates three times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for the interview.

For English Stenographer:

1. Stenography Dictation: Candidates will undergo a 5-minute dictation at 80 words per minute.
2. Transcription: Candidates will transcribe the dictated passage in 30 minutes on a computer.
3. Typing Test: Candidates will undergo a 10-minute typing test at 40 w.p.m.
4. Interview: Candidates will be interviewed based on their performance in stenography, transcription, and typing tests.
5. Selection: A panel of successful candidates will be prepared based on total marks obtained in transcription, typing test, and interview. Candidates three times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for the interview.
