What are the eligibility criteria for Ayushman Card?

According to the Central Government’s guidelines for eligibility for an Ayushman Card, families may apply if no members are between 16 and 59. 

Only low-income laborers, farmers, and small-scale workers like barbers, gardeners, washermen, tailors, cobblers, and other diligent laborers are eligible for Ayushman Cards.

 In addition, several other categories have been established for individuals who reside in kutcha houses, do not have a wage earner in their family, and have a disabled family member.

How to download an Ayushman card from bis.pmjay.gov.in?

Ayushman Card can be downloaded online using a computer or smartphone at home. 

Remember that your phone number needs to be connected to Aadhaar because you will receive a link on your phone that allows you to download the Ayushman card.

Step 1: Open the Chrome browser on your computer or mobile device in order to download Ayushman Card.

Step 2: After launching the browser, enter bis.pmjay.gov.in in the search field and press the Enter or Search buttons.

Step 3: A new page will load at this point, and you must click the “Download Ayushman Card” link.

Step 4: Next, choose PMJAY from the Scheme, choose your state from the Select State menu, enter your Aadhaar number or virtual ID, and press the Generate OTP button.

Step 5: Your phone will receive an OTP, which you must enter at the designated location to verify.

Step 6: Following the OTP verification, a new page will load with the option to download the Ayushman card in PDF format. Simply click on the link to begin the download process.

• Use your mobile browser to access beneficiary.nha.gov.in before downloading the Ayushman Card.
• You will now be presented with the beneficiary nha website, where you can choose three options. 
• Choose the Beneficiary option from the list of options when logging in, followed by Operator.
• Enter your mobile number now, confirm it with an OTP, and log in.
• Once more, a new page will open where you must choose State, Scheme, and District. 
• You must then choose the Aadhar number or ID you wish to use for your search and click the search button. 
• Following that, your family’s status will show up, which you can easily download.
